A Nice Day for a Dip in the Lake

Arriving in Geneva went very smoothly. My bags thankfully were not lost, unlike another girl on my flight who was travelling from San Francisco. From the airport I was transported with thirty other Boston University students to our apartment. It was unreal driving through the city of Geneva!

After trekking my two massive suitcases up four flights of stairs our orientation began. It was a day full of walking around the city, meeting new friends most of whom came from the east coast. I truly felt like a zombie most of the until my roommate and I decided to walk to the lake and take a dip, which became quite the excursion when fifteen other students decided to join us. We walked passed some swans on our way, so naturally I had to take a picture. The water was the perfect temperature for a hot day. I ended my night sitting around a table with new friends at a precious little chicken and fries restaurant just about a mile away from my new home!
